  1. What an amazing view! Watching the sun rise through this property’s the lovely vaulted windows and its excellent location is the best feature we experienced at Hill Top Point Getaway. The property was supplied with everything that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend stay. We were stunned by the absolute quietness and the amazing clear skies at nighttime. Overall, we experienced that this property is a great place to be rejuvenated. AND The property is located only a few miles from a lovely bakery just down the hill–BearClaw Bakery.

  2. Carolyn’s great. Always available, responsive, gets right on things & follows up. She should give herself weekends once in awhile … 🙂

  3. Beautiful cabin with an amazing view. Great place to get away from everything and relax while taking in nature. Carolyn was very quick to reply to any questions. The cabin itself is well maintained and stocked with the kitchen having pretty much anything you need to cook a good meal (minus food) . Our stay was mid summer with temperatures in the mid 90’s, but we didn’t find it unpleasant at all. There are a couple of portable fans which we found to be more than enough to stay cool. If staying here again, I might take a couple extra fans just in case it got hotter than expected. Overall, great place!

  4. The view is stunning! Though we never met in person, Carolyn was a great host, quick communication and very clear instructions. Would love to come back!

  5. This home is uniquely decorated with photography and has a comfy feel. The view is beautiful and pleasant to wake to.”

  6. Get up for sunrise at this cabin! The view from inside with the huge windows is gorgeous or if the weather is good head outside to see it from the deck. Private location with a great view.

  7. “We had a great time at Carolyn’s place – the views and the community are beautiful, and there are fun trails to hike nearby. Definitely a treat to escape the city! In terms of the house, it was spacious with a lovely open floor plan between the kitchen and the main room that made hanging out and cooking a blast. We enjoyed not one but TWO fireplaces (be sure to bring your own firewood!), and the porch was ideal for stargazing. There were some aspects of the house and decor – such as the pristine 1981 version of Trivial Pursuit – that make the whole experience feel a bit like stepping into a time capsule, but as late 80s/90s kids, we enjoyed the nostalgia. Carolyn also made the check in process super easy, which we appreciated :)”

  8. This was the perfect place for a weekend retreat out of the city. Carolyn was very communicative and hospitable. The porch was perfect for lounging and watching the sunset. Highly recommend!

  9. You want peace and quiet with a beautiful view overlooking Los Padres National Forest. You want a big deck where you can eat meals at sunrise and sunset. You want room for the whole family to stay and for everyone to have their own space. THIS is the place for you.

  10. This cabin has a wonderful view of the valley and mountains, the wrap around porch makes it easy to enjoy the scenery with a cup of coffee. Sunrise and sunset was spectacular from the cabin. Great location near hiking and nestled amongst mountain pines. The space is cozy and easily accommodated our group of 5. The fireplace was great and the kitchen is fully equipped. It was clean on arrival and there were clear instructions for checkout. You have to take your trash to the transfer site 1.5 miles away upon checkout (adds 15 minutes to departure, super easy process). Carolyn was very helpful. Would stay again!
