Cozy Cabin

The “Cozy Cabin” is located at 6,000 feet in the Southern California pines, and just 90 minutes north of Los Angeles, California.

It is a nearby, faraway place.

The Cozy Cabin is a completely updated, yet woodsy-vintage, mountain escape. It has all the comforts of home such as free reliable WIFI, an updated kitchen, new comfy queen beds, two large 50+ inch TV’s, many board games, a library of classic DVD & VHS movies with a DVD / VCR.

In the Spring, Summer and Fall enjoy, on the cabin property, the little one’s zip line, the tire swing or the wrap around deck with multiple sitting areas to enjoy the mile-high mountain views. And in the Winter months, choose to build a crackling fire and sit by the huge stone fireplace inside with a good book and warm drink. Or brave the snow and grab the sleds and build a great toboggan run.

No matter what season you choose to visit, it’s always the Holiday season at the Cozy Cabin with a Christmas tree and some holiday cheer sprinkled around the home year-round!

Several local restaurants, unique specialty shops and boutiques and a general store for last minute groceries and supplies are found just a mile down the way in our quaint Pine Mountain Village. If you prefer home cooked meals, the Cozy Cabin has a fully furnished kitchen with everything you’ll need during your stay.

The Cozy Cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. Guests will enjoy one of two large bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds and one with additional twin bunkbeds.

Other attractions within a 20 to 45-minute drive are hiking and snow shoe at nearby Mt. Pinos during the winter season.  Enjoy a family day shopping the Mall Outlets at Tejon or riding the coasters at Magic Mountain Theme Park in Santa Clarita.

  1. The cozy cabin was perfect for our little getaway. The cabin had the feel of an older mountain cabin but provides all the modern amenities you want. The wifi was perfect and we were able to stream our movies and music just fine. **Bring your own streaming device if you want to connect to TV to watch the movies. The bedrooms had small heaters in them to keep you warm and comfy during the wintery night. The main part of the cabin is warm and cozy with a nice stone living room fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics one would need to cook a meal. Down the road the town is cute and friendly with a fun general store where we were able to get firewood and some last minute supplies. The cabin had a hiking sheet that we used to pick a trail which ended up being easy and beautiful. Highly recommend to go on a hike or two if you are able. Overall this was a great weekend getaway spot and I would recommend this cabin for a family or a small group of friends.

  2. This has to be one of my favorites Airbnb stays. The snow falling, with Christmas decorations all over. I felt so complete and so did my family. I can’t wait to go back.

  3. Cozy cabin with Christmas decorations, which was a nice touch. There’s a short hiking trail close to cabin. There’s not many restaurant options in the area, so be prepared to do your own cooking.

  4. This cabin was the best! My family and I have stayed at several AirB&Bs and this was it favorite. So cozy and cabinny (if that’s a word) and so clean!! Anything you could possibly need was there and a fully stocked kitchen. Right in the middle of the forest with a great wrap around deck. The care takers even swung by to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be coming back.

  5. A lovely cabin that has everything you could possibly need for a nice get away from the city. Also, Carolyn is a great host and replies quickly to any questions.

  6. When you need to slow down and have a change of scenery, this cabin is a great escape. Upon entering you feel the stress melt away in this clean, quaint, and well decorated cabin. It offers quiet coziness and fresh pine tree mountain air that refreshes and rejuvenates the soul. Wonderful amenities, well stocked kitchen, and available entertainment options provided everything our family needed. We highly recommend a stay in this “Nearby, faraway place”!
